Anyone (with a high-speed connection) seeking the viewpoints of the Democratic candidates on God issues can pay a visit to the video page of the Interfaith Alliance. This is one of those groups that says it is nonpartisan, but is basically preaching to the Baptists of the Bill Moyers universe. You can kind of see that in how the topics are worded:
* Relationship between personal faith and political life
* Separation of church and state
* Religious Tolerance and Respect
* Are Republicans the party of faith and morality? Faith-based Initiatives
Don't look for Bush here. He has been invited to take part, but really has no incentive to do so. This is not his congregation.
Perhaps they will heed The Nation and add the heaven and hell question. Or is that what they mean by "tolerance and respect"?
