Now powered by WordPress

You may notice some small changes this morning in the design of our blog: Typographically correct quote marks and dashes, and a more user-friendly method for leaving comments. These changes mark our transfer to the WordPress publishing platform. Much as we loved Movable Type, we found it was not playing well with our server, which caused problems both for this blog's authors and for readers who wanted to leave comments. Every big change we've made on this blog has involved some technical headaches, of course, but we think our move to WordPress will solve more problems than it creates.

As always, we welcome your responses (including complaints), advice and prayers.
